How to report a bug

Learn how to report a bug in Novelio and what information helps the support team investigate faster.

You can report a bug from the desktop header menu in Novelio.

Open the bug report form

  1. In the desktop header menu, select Report Bug.
  2. In the Report A Bug window, describe the issue in Description.
  3. Optionally add the full Novelio page URL in URL (Optional).
  4. To attach optional screenshots, select UPLOAD under Screenshots (Up to 5, Optional) and choose the files.
  5. Select Submit.

What the form accepts

The current bug report form supports:

  • a description between 50 and 1000 characters
  • an optional valid Novelio page URL
  • up to 5 optional screenshot images

What makes a bug report more useful

Include:

  • what you expected to happen
  • what actually happened
  • the steps that caused the problem
  • whether the issue happens every time

When to email support instead

If you are on mobile, cannot reach the desktop bug form, or the bug blocks account access, billing, or deletion, also contact support@novelio.app.
