Delete your account

You can start account deletion from Settings, then confirm the request with a code sent to your account email.

Start the deletion request

1. Open Settings.
2. Select Account.
3. In Delete Account, select Delete Account.
4. Review what will be deleted.
5. Enter your Account email.
6. If prompted, enter your Current password.
7. Select Send verification code.

If you signed in without a password provider, the password step is skipped and the email verification code step is used instead.

Verify the request

1. Open the email sent to your account email address.
2. Copy the 16-digit verification code.
3. Enter your Account email again.
4. Enter the code in 16-digit verification code.
5. Select Schedule account deletion.

The verification code expires within 24 hours.

What happens after verification

After you confirm the request:

• deletion is scheduled
• there is a 14-day waiting period before deletion begins
• you can cancel the deletion request during that window

Cancel a scheduled deletion request

If the request is still cancelable, open the deletion status page and select Cancel deletion request.

• you cannot access the account email inbox
• the verification step keeps failing
• the deletion page tells you the request needs support

Include the deletion request ID if one is shown.
